Level 1: 50 hr training
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
As a student in this professional training you will Learn:
- How to offer a 90 minute massage sequence
- Basic anatomy of the skeletal, fascial, and lymphatic system
- Efficient use of body mechanics, and how to use your hands, feet and elbows
- Client recruitment, and how to build a practice
- Contraindications and modifications for specific populations
- The lineage and history of Thai Massage
- Introduction to sen lines, and the energetics of Thai Massage
- Basic trauma theory and how to create safe space for clients
This training is best-suited for:
The training will be an introduction to Thai Bodywork and appropriate for all levels, no prior massage experience (or partner) is needed. Many yoga teachers appreciate how this course empowers them to offer more informed assists and feel more comfortable touching their students.
40 hours of this training are contact. 10 hours are non-contact, post course completion.
Eligible for CEUs for yoga teachers and massage therapists.
Level 2: 25 hr training
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
As a student in this professional training you will Learn:
- Sahatsarangsi & Tawaree, and Itha & Pingala sen lines
- How to sense, “see”/”feel” and move energy
- Intermediate Thai BodyWork and manipulation techniques
- The latest research of the fascial system
- Exploration of postural assessments, and movement patterns
- To track symptoms that present commonly on Sahatsarangsi & Tawaree, and Itha & Pingala sen lines
This training is best-suited for:
This 25 hr training will be a continuation of Thai Bodywork and appropriate for graduates of Thai Level 1 training or comparable course.
20 hours of this training are contact. 5 hours are non-contact, post course completion.
Eligible for CEUs for yoga teachers and massage therapists.
